and has been operational at Wockhardt Hospital & Heart Institute (www.whhi.com).
VFV provides the opportunity for the family and friends to see and hear
a patient, admitted in a hospital, from anywhere in the world and helps
them to share in the recovery of their loved one! Hundreds of patients

Virtual Family Visit is a product designed to share video, audio, text
and images on a web server. It integrates into the hospital web site
using a Java Applet which can be included in the hospital web site. This
creates a Virtual Patient Room with secure access on the web. Virtual
Family Visit is offered on an Application Service Provider model by
Think Ahead, powerful Virtual Family Visit servers are deployed to
ensure secure and fast downloads. A Java applet is integrated into the
hospital web site and a Virtual Family Visit account is created for the
hospital to upload the files. |
