The Product Analyst will be involved in the product right from customer needs identification to
design specification to delivery to promotion and sales.He would not only manage the product’s complete life cycle but also as a part of the marketing team, help to co-ordinate the external promotion of the product and support the sales process.

• BE in computer science and MBA (Marketing)
• Strong understanding of Product development cycle.

• Work with solution team including UI designers, domain specialists and engineering to   deliver solution.

• Manage a product’s complete life cycle, including requirements definition, specifications, design, implementation, testing and delivery. This may include helping to determine the product’s features, functionality, and interface design, and ensuring compatibility with other products.
• Handle structured collection of customer requirements, competitive analysis, and deriving of product specifications.
• Analyzing system impact and creating system level requirements documentation.
• Use case development & documentation, business Rule documentation.
• Working with Development team on the business functionality and system enhancements and implementing the system requirements for release.
• Work with sales and business development to establish initial relationships with early adopter customers. Perform presales customer support.
• Create a business plan for the product or product line
• Co-ordinate the external promotion of the product and support the sales process.
• Creating product strategies, conducting market research, creating and maintaining software product marketing plans.
• Act as liaison between sales, marketing and the Product development departments.
• Prepare pricing proposals , white papers, and occasionally, technical specifications . Co-ordinate sales campaign and product distribution.
• Set up service and maintenance plans , including service contracts and warranties.
• Design programs to keep customers abreast of updates and other product news.
• Identify and evaluate new products and technology. Work with marketing, sales, and engineering to roll out new products and solutions
• Work with engineering team to certify new products and solutions.
• Position company products and solutions against the competition.
• Perform presentations for key industry trade conferences and industry.

• At least 4 years of working experience.  Must have experience working for a portal or an eCommerce company.
• Good hands on experience on Macromedia tools.
• Has developed ecommerce, dynamic websites.
• Web site development and design, strategy session participation and coordination.
• Flash Developers with a knowledge of Advanced action scripting.
• Good knowledge in Macromedia Flash MX or 8.5
• An ideal Flash Designer will have work experience in both writing scripts and designing.
• Standard Flash production methods
• Good sense visual communication including typography, image development and page layout
• High level of Visualization skills
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates.

• Create web content, web graphics, multimedia and creative writing content for client websites.
• Produce highly impressive creative web design in a timely manner.
• Be able to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member.
• Communicate effectively both internally and externally i.e. Check email, forward to appropriate parties and reply timely with priority to editing requests or technical support requests.
• Innovative and creative in the form of continuous improvement to internal processes.
• This position is responsible for the design, development, maintenance and enhancement of Web/Internet interfaces to portal. Identify innovative ways to transform current applications into the Flash, making maximum use of emerging technologies.
• Participate in current Web/Internet research and development (R&D).
• Transition R&D recommendations to operational realities.
• Continue internal R&D efforts to find best practices in Web design and development.
• Work with Technical consulting team in creating Web/Internet design specifications
• Ensure Web/Internet interfaces are fully tested prior to operational turn over.
• Ensure established release timelines are met in a timely manner.
• Translate all problems or suggestions for improvement of existing/new systems to the appropriate person.
