The ALC Freight Management Program is an efficient and cost-effective source for managing inbound and outbound transportation costs.
We at Think Ahead developed many a web based logistics application to provide a freight quote management system. It consists of a secure login based system for providing freight quotes generated from a rate ware engine. The application takes into account several factors such as to-From destination, Class of Goods, Special Instructions, Discounts and Special Rates for shippers. It finally generates a Bill of Lading for Shipper to complete the shipment process online based on the contractual arrangement between Shipper and Carriers. This application is provided on an ASP model by Allen Lund (top 10 in USA) to its enterprise clients.
